Slight clarification: -The two cheaper screen protectors, don't claim to be level 9 in hardness specifically, but claim to be "9H". The point I should have added is that 9H is not the same as 9, and that 9H is MUCH weaker, but is used by these companies because it sounds a lot like "level 9", when it actually isn't - which you'll see demonstrated in the video. I’ve been using the Spigen EZ fit tempered glass on my phones for a few years now and no issues whatsoever. Tried the 1 dollar ones too and didn’t have the same luck.

I see some people writing that they spend around $40 on a pack of screen-protectors and change them out when they get scratched. But consider this: the single $80 sapphire protector is far more resistant to being scratched than glass, so depending on how often you end up scratching your glass protectors, you may well be spending less by just buying the sapphire one.

A great story about screen protectors for ya mate Got a Samsung A70. Came with a free samsung screen protector (supposedly retailing at around £10 if bought seperately). Protector worked fine for a while. Few scuffs.. what you'd expect from a low end screen protector. The fun part came when I dropped it for the last time. Picked up the phone, looked down and noticed a big crack down the phone from the middle top to the center. Ok the protector was done for you'd think. Nope. The protective glass? Was fine. As in there was still just the little scuff marks on the corners and the like.. The damage? The big crack that steadily grew downwards? That was on the phone. Underneath the protector. Again, the glass sheet on top had no such issue. Just the phone underneath.... Dunno if I just got unlucky or if this was a thing, but I have noticed that Samsung seem to have suspiciously stopped selling this specific screen protective glass,at least everywhere I could check, with the excuse of lockdown and being unable to get said product anymore!

These tests were not reliable. Why not to buy a plastic tube with a diameter of 50 mm and a length of 40 cm - available at any DIY store and drop a metal ball through it from the maximum height on each phone?

After watching the video, I bought Glass Screen Protector Dustproof CORTUTOL, which is easy to install and remove. The quality is very good and worthy of recommendation,perfect!

Speck are extremely poor quality products(stylish but poor quality). We used to have alot of reps from different phone accessory companies come in a peddle their wares. Most of them wore suits and were for the most part, not to forceful or annoying. The rep from speck or a rep from one of their distributors genuinely looked like a crackhead. He would often come in and demand to speak to the manager about an "urgent issue". They also had the most insane RRP's I have ever seen when compared to the wholesale price. it was at minimum 50% and usually closer to the 80% mark. Obviously those numbers got us interested and we stocked some of them. Pretty much a flat 1/2 return rate. The returns process for the distro wasn't too bad but it was insanely long wait times and most of our stock was tied up in returns/trades when we finally decided to cut our loses and drop them from our store.

Not very scientific or accurate! Get a 1" steel ball and hold it magnetically above the phone being tested. Remove the magnet and let the ball drop onto the center of the screen. Repeat the IDENTICAL test (identical placement and distances) on all phones, until you get failure.

All the test up-to the brick one were useful, but brick one is just so stupid on so many levels - like for example the phone will never fall with such a force onto the floor as the brick, because it just doesn't have such mass nor it will be crushed from both sides. In short at that point it doesn't matter if it has screen protector or not, the actual phone frame becomes an issue - simply there is so much force that even if screen protector survives the frame itself bends and cracks the screen from inside. Obviously, I do realise this is a trick to advertise the channel and get the views destroying the the brand new scientific
